United Postal Office Ripoff U S Postal Office after paying for the P O Box they lack the box therefore I could not retieve my mail Riverside California

The personnel working at the postal office do not discriminate AT ALL.

Today I went to collect my mail. However, my key would not open the lack, after waiting for about 20 to 30 minutes in line to find out why my postal box had been lacked, I was told that it was because I had not paid, and the only way to get my mail was to write a check for the amount due. I proceeded to explain to the clerk that the check for the amount of $70.00 dollars had already been issued and cashed by the postal office. Then she asked my for my receipt, which would happen to be in the postal box. Since I did not have the receipt, I could not get my mail. Again, this time the clerk, was yelling at me in front of other patrons, told me that the only way for her to get my mail was to write ANOTHER check.

I asked to speak with the supervisor just to get the same attitude and response. Frustrated, embarrassed and without my mail I had to leave the postal office.

By the way, there was another client, with the same problem, except, she had a receipt where she had paid last month The other clerk not even apologized, he only said, "Everything is squared, now." Obviously the people working for the postal offices feel that they work for free and our business do not mean anything. Whatever happened with courtesy to the paying customers?
