Same thing happened to me on 6/26.  I had a suspicious phone call that same day - robo call for a free vacation.  I recorded it and will give this to the police after the holiday.  The phone call asked me several times if I had a valid debit or credit card.  Kept trying to make me answer "yes" on the call, but I did not do that. I just kept quiet and the robo call paused a little while and continued like I had answered.  I have the phone number it came from too - it was a local number  - a 757-373- number which would be in the southside of Tidewater, VA..  I really suspect these two things are connected.
