I've moved many times - locally, across the country and once internationally - with many companies. Uber Movers is easily the worst moving experience I've ever had. Started off great - with easy contact and a fixed price, and their commitment to meet our moving schedule. Everything changed on the pick up date, though. The movers were supposed to arrive between 5-7 pm - after leaving many phone messages and emails, they finally arrived at 10:45 pm and were not done until 1:15 am - this being the same day we had to drive to Ohio, now on little sleep. They added hundreds of dollars of charges at pickup even though I had repeatedly confirmed that there would be no more charges and our price was fixed (one of their selling points) - but of course we had no choice as it was nearly midnight on the day we needed to move. Once in transit they said that they wouldn't meet their guaranteed delivery date, which was critical for us. It was now nearly impossible to reach them and only through extreme pressure was I able to get delivery on the last possible day that we could take it on.

Uber movers added tons of stress to an already stressful event - my entire family went through anxiety and misery due to them.

Uber movers operates based on fraud - they make promises, guarantees and claims to get your contract and deposit, but they ignore every commitment and hit you with extra charges and delivery delays once the pickup day comes. They're easy to reach until the pickup - then their phone and email become a black hole. I wish I had listened to the negative reviews, but I figured every moving company will have some. This was different.

Avoid Uber Movers at all costs - what a terrible experience.
