Uggfootwear-direct.com AND Mainuggs.com Paid 109 for ladies uggs and didn't get boots. Numerous reports on this site and others that this has happened to many! Interent

I bought a pair of ladies classic tall uggs off this website and paid 109 through paypal. As I have now discovered after reading reports on this site and on moneysavingexpert.com I am not the only one who thought that paying through paypal meant that your money was safe and that they were a legitimate company. The website looks professional and like a legitimate company.

I didn't receive any comfirmation of my order from the company, only an e-mail from paypal saying that my payment had been sent. I then had difficulty finding the website again - I found out this is because they keep changing their name!

When I searched for the website I found numerous reports that this had happened to lots of people and that I am far from the only one! I immediately e-mailed the company and had no response, filed a claim with paypal who have received my claim but I'm yet to hear what has hapened and I also phoned my credit card company. I have fortunately found that my credit card covers this and I will get a refund but I have read reports of others who haven't been so lucky. I believe that the fraudster clears his paypal account of money so paypal are unable (or perhaps unwilling) to refund any money. Paople who pay with debit cards don't have the same insurance as credit cards and so have been left 109 out of pocket.

I can't believe how easily these people are getting away with it and that they still have an account with paypal, who seem to be doing nothing about it! Lets hope that if enough people post reports it will stop other people being duped and this con artist is caught and brought to justice!
