Has anyone heard of Ujena Swimwear? I urge everyone reading this to pass the word to avoid them at all costs (and man will it cost you to shop there). I bought a few swimsuits in May and found out they have a maximum 80 calendar day refund policy, wasn't thrilled but figured I didn't plan on returning the items. I sent the items back (at my cost) and the package was signed for on June 12, 2006. I started called them on day 78 to make sure my credit wasn't lost (still could not believe in this day and age it takes 80 days to process a credit). I called a minimum of twice a day for a week; sent numerous emails and one fax - never got a response. I finally received a response from Lisa, the President. She informed me that everyone was out of the country on a photo shoot and that this was not the way she did business and she would find out what happened. Well that was almost two weeks ago - still no refund or further communication. I sent emails to every person in managment whose info I could find on their web site - no response from anyone (though with I received receipts of the delivery of emails).

It's going on 90-days and still no refund. I finally, on calendar refund day number 87 received a voice message responding to my first voice message stating that "You'll have a credit within your next billing statement". Hello! My NEXT billing statement will put the credit at over 120 calendar days.

I wonder if anyone reading this has had similar issues with them and would be interested in going with me to the CA Attorney General's office? I've checked with BBB and they are not a member (surprise surprise). Guess it pays to investigate a company before you buy.
