Ultrasound Diagnostic Institute - Sanford-Brown Institute Company would not relinquish loan money when told student relocating to VA/lied Trevose Pennsylvania

Hello, I am writing this report to alert any potential victims of the nature of the company whose services they are seeking to utilize. I was a single woman who needed a better job. I worked two jobs to make ends meet when this fabulous opportunity was offered to me. It seemed to good to be true, and you know something, it was. I went up to the school and applied and while it was explained to me that it was difficult to get in, it truly wasn't. During the process of getting in, I became engaged. After my first class had finished, before the next pod, I explained about having to move to Virginia to a Timothy, the same man who had helped me get in to this exclusive school. He explained that I would not have to withdraw from school that there was a satellite school I could enroll in and that I should take care of it down there, this was explained so that I would not be able to withdraw before the five days and so they could defraud Wachovia and the government out of loan money for classes they knew I would not be able to take at a school that did not exist. I asked for the address and could not find the school on my own. Guess what, there was no school and since the five days had elapsed, they also got my $5,500.00. They took the money for services that were not rendered and refused to return them. To date, none of my correspondence has been returned or even addressed by this company. I am going to now seek the services of an attorney. I do agree with some of the posts on here as well, they employ instructors who do not show up occasionally, so after battling traffic to get to class on time, sometimes I had to just turn around and go back home. Additionally, my last instructor barely spoke English which made learning from him much more challenging. They will say anything to get your money and leave you holding the bag. I think any company that preys on people who enroll with hope of obtaining a way out of the current financial position, only to owe a ridiculous amount of money, much more than what any other college would require per class are morally and ethically wrong and I wonder how they sleep at night. Its actually less expensive to go to a real college, and that is precisely what I ended up doing in the end to obtain a real education. I was smart enough and determined enough, I just had a lame school. So skip this step and just go to a normal school so that you don't end up owing money for services not rendered.
