Uncle Mike's Surly owner, watered-down alcohol, infested New York, New York

I was at an event at Uncle Mike's on Friday, April 6th when a light fixture fell down. Almost immediately, some greasy-haired surly idiot suffering from a midlife crisis yelled "excuse me!" real loud into my ear. After the light fixture was repaired the music started up and people started dancing, and this is where the fun begins.

Said greasy-haired idiot tripped over my feet as I was dancing and accused me of tripping. He was yelling at me to get out of the bar and THEN identified himself as the owner. The event hostesses tried to get the guy to let me back in but he was too agitated to listen to them.

Speaking of dancing, it's my understanding that this bar does not have a cabaret license. Isn't it illegal in NYC to have an event with dancing at a venue unless it has one?
