2001 Honda accord v-6. Was told to replay timing and all belts. $400.00 Shorted one belt without notifiying. me. Said power steering is bad. Called me on phone and said need new unit. seals bad. Making loud noice.
I am a commercial pilot and there was not noice in steeling till they did the belts on timeing. They had to remove the power steering unit and drain it. They probably put in the wrong fluid, or did not get the air out or mix the fluids properly. Now I have a power steeing unit screaming. And they want $500.00 to replace. My local mechanic said they do this for commission purposes and most people do not chalange this. I am going to file a police report on damage to my car today and complain to the manager. Dave Hall
