Rod Barlow and Ken Nielsen sold me a bill of goods over the phone. I agreed verbally to try this web business. After I had my fist session with the teacher/trainer I new I did not want to do this business. I had not received my material in the mail that they were sending me. As soon as I knew I did not want to do this (approx 7days) I called and told Ken that I wanted to back out. He said I could not. I never signed or excepted the material they had sent. Needless to say it looks like I have lost $9790.

I feel there should be some law that would protect us from losing this much when it is a verbal contract. You really do not see anything and are sold over the phone. I told them I thought it would be better to see something..and they said no they couldn't do it that way.

Feeling like a fool in San Diego!

Just Say "No" Next Time!

AUTHOR: RJ - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, June 29, 2003

They made a verbal offer and you accepted. That is a contract! No different than a written contract. And chances are great that they recorded the whole transaction.

They said NO to providing anything in writing to you. In turn, you had the right and ample opportunity to simply say NO to such a scam verbal contract.

The purpose of this site is to help people to become informed and to learn to say "NO" to the scam artists.

Shame on you for not checking the Rip-Off Report BEFORE being burned.
