Union Security Life Insurance - Louis Guzman - MBNA credit card Breached their contract in making my monthly payments to my credit card, ripoff Miami Florida

I have an MBNA credit card which offered me insurance in case of a disability, unemployment, death... I took this option and signed up through MBNA with their affiliate Union Security Life Insurance Company. They cahrged me a premium on each outstanding balance. I have been paying these premiums on my outstanding balance since 1997.

When I became disabled in 2003/2004, I activated this insurance. They are supposed to pay the minimum monthly balance on the outstanding balance until the balance that was outstanding is paid in full. They were making my payments on a monthly basis, then around 2004, they arbitrarly ceased making the minimum payment and were paying less than the required minimum. I was incurring late fees which MBNA was generous to remove from my account.

I threaten Union Security that I would contact the Attorney General's office of Consumer Fraud to report them and that I would sue them for punitive dmages. The representative of Union Security, Louis Guzman was providing a prevaricating story that Union Security is meeting the stste guidelines of what is required to make payments.

I explained that my contract reads that I am to have an account in good standing and as such the minimum payment must be meet to satisfy the premium payments I have been paying. They eventually began making the monthly minimum payment and the difference of the month(s) thay failed to make.

Now, in 2006, March 13, I received my statement and it again shows after all this time they are not paying my monthly minimum payment. I again called Union Security and again was in contact with Louis Guzman and repeated the argument that he was making the payments as per state guidelines. I explained that this was false, this is in contrast to my contract and that for two plus years you were making the minimum payments to my account and that there were times when union Secuirty made a payment in excess of the minimum monthly payment.

The represenative told me that they were audited by some made up instutition and Union Security was incorrecly making payments to my account. I explained that they are violating my contract and that they have tried to pull this on me in the past. I told the rep that f there was an audit completed by an outside agency it was for our protection the consumer not for Union Secuirty benefit.

I asked for a faxed copy of the state guidelinehe was referring too and I never received it. I spoke with him on 3/21, 3/23, 3/24 and again requested this so that I can forward it to the Attorney General Office or any other agency that this site can recommend.

The purpose of this type of insurance is to protect me if I should become disabled by making the minimum monthly payment and not that they state that they are to pay according to some guidelines and not the contract I have.
