Unique Movers, Inc. Rodney Watson dirty ripoff liars, stole my personal property after being paid Oxnard California

I hired Unique Movers to move me from Filmore, CA to West Hills, CA. I told Rodney how much I had to move and that I needed 2 trucks and at least 3 drivers. He sent me one truck and 2 drivers. After seeing what needed to be moved, the driver agreed that I needed 2 trucks. The driver called Rodney to let him know a second truck was needed. Rodney said he didn't have another truck. I suggested renting a truck, which is what we ended up doing. When we arrived to the destination, the driver told me he needed payment in full and in cash before he would unload the truck. We agreed on a price of $1000.00. I gave him the money. He unloaded one truck and told me he would be back the next morning because it was so late and they were tired. The driver never showed up the next morning. I waited all day. I called Rodney several times and he told me he needed more money. I asked him how much. He said he didn't know and that he would get back to me. I called him for 3 days straight and got the answer machine. Finally, Rodney called me and said he wanted $500.00 cash. I told him I paid the agreed rate and I wasn't going to pay any more. He told me he was keeping my stuff and that it was really nice stuff. One week later, Rodney came back to my residence when I wasn't home and stole cash, jewelry and several other valuable items. I tried calling him but, he wouldn't return any of my calls. So I am out $1000.00 and my personal belongings. The few items that were in the truck that was unloaded were damaged. The drivers also damaged the floor and carpet. I never received a return call. Rodney never replied to my letters. I reported him to the BBB. He told them that I refused to pay him. He still has my property and still refused my calls. Please do yourself a favor and NEVER use Unique Movers.
