I was lured into the United American under false pretenses. Promises were made of a decent income that could only be achieved by lying to consumers. Don Gibbs hipes young Mormon returned missionaries and other uneducated and unemployable people as agents. During my tenure I worked with either HS graduates or non graduates, and a few older men who clearly were bottom feeders, they also drove s**+**y cars with the exception of a few who believed they were above the others as unit managers who made slightly more. This job is for losers. The recruiter claimed to recruit over 110 people each year and in your after your first few months you will notice they all leave unhappy with the health product and then in debt to the company. What they wont tell you is their top producer drives a sh** car and is known by everyone in the office as a liar and his cancelled policy rate is almost 70%. They wont tell you the average income amongst agents is about $500.00 a week and thats after you pay for gas to drive either to Las Vegas or up to Provo where they write business. They wont tell you its an advance payment in the beginning otherwise why would anyone join. WHy they do that is so they can put you with a unit manager and get you to $12,500. so they can get there $3,000. recruitment bonus out of you. You will later pay that back. Don Gibbs hypes this to his "managers" who in turn do his dirty work. Don brags about big money saying he makes millions a year so the idiots he employs do as he says in hopes the same good fortune will fall on them. The health plans they peddle are junk. They call consumers and compare it to major health care and dont disclose the truth.

I do not recommend anyone get caught up in Don Gibbs money web. Don who is the self proclaimed hero of his managers is nothing more than a thief. He has no conscience that I ever saw. He is aware his people are lying in order to peddle a product and buys them leads for people with full coverage. I once overheard Don and his brother talking and saying no one was expected to keep the policy anyway and also they needed more mormons they could send to las vegas to work among other things.

Both the consumer and the person being tagged by their slimy recruiting process should be aware that if you believe in helping anyone the only one you will help in the end is Don Gibbs. I have filed complaints with the state and welcome a class action lawsuit by former employees.

If you dont believe me ask the secretary how long a policy stays on their books "about 6 months" well guess who pays that back! If your unsure still take a look around the office at the motley and uneducated losers who work there. If you still have questions go sit in a cubicle and listen to what they tell consumers on the phone. Left with doubts go ask the oldest manager in the office how agents and other managers sell the policy the answer may change but was "they lie". Left with thinking it sounds to good to be true well it is. Just ask the 100 or more people who went through the revolving door that Don got paid on. Set down with a manager and ask if they are concerned about the consumer then ask how many people they train that leave. If you have an education, a set of teeth, and any moral judgement run from United American and Don Gibbs. Don is the number one office because he using people and peddles a product that hurts people and convinces uneducated and unfortunate people they are helping people. Anyone who works there more than a month should be treated as a thief and criminal.

THis is Mike Nebaker whose a manager at UA. He once told me at a staff meeting to use a fake outline of coverage he came up with. He is a Donovan Doc cronie a guy who Don promoted to be a branch or office manager in california where left the company too and now works for Hartland, he and Mike ripped everyone off. Mike tried to pretend to be an agent well come out of the closet Mike and for anyone doubting Mike proved the point by trying to pretent to be an agent and he wants to recruit you to make himself money.

If I'm right then you fit the stereotype mormon and as I remember it you sold car stereos or furniture before you started lying. I have a great career and make plenty of money and do with honesty I also quit did not leave because I was "unsuccessful". Is success ruining peoples lives to have a "saturn and honda". Beware this guy is a suck up to Don and a rip off.

This complaint really does surprise me! I am an agent who has had the opportunity to work for Donn Gibbs for the passed 2 1/2 years. I have been extremly successful with United American and have seen a lot of succesful agents come through this office. Donn has promoted 5 people in the last year and a half to Branch Manager positions all over the country. The products are what they are and unfortunatley agents have oversold them in certain situations. These are agents though and are independent contractors not employees. Donn does his best to make sure the policys are sold correctly but he cannot babysit over thirty agents at a time. Not only that, he shouldn't have too. This complaint must come from an agent who cannot except responsiblity that he or she failed. The comment about these agents and managers driving s**+**y cars cracks me up because I didn't know thats how you judje whether someone was successful. I am sorry my 2003 saturn and my 2008 Honda Accord did not make you successful. You really need to except the fact that you failed miserably and quit blaming other people! I am sorry your experience was so bad! On the flip side there are plenty of people who are thankful for the opportunity. Please don't ruin that for everyone else. Anyone reading this please come talk to us we will prove to you that this complaint is false!

As for the description of the people working there who are uneducated and scummy. Not true! We have people who are smart and are educated and can except respomsiblity for their own actions. Thank You! Please come let us prove it to you.
