United American Health Insurance RIPOFF! Greenwood Village Colorado

If anyone is looking for HEALTH INSURANCE from United American - save your money, buy a good pair of running shoes and run far, far away from this Company!

We purchased a lot of Insurance and this stupid discount card that isn't worth the plastic it's printed on. I was told to take it to my pharmacy - I did, I took it to several places and I thought well - it's probably cheaper if I call in my prescription direct with UA - WRONG. A 90day supply of my meds was well over $200.00 and the cash price at Walgreens (same pills, same quantity) was $60.00.

So, I then called my Dr. got the fax number and sent in my cards - both the "discount card" and my insurance card. The office called me back and said it would probably be cheaper to pay cash and if the insurance company paid anything I could wait until they paid me.

So, alls well that ends well - I called a Broker and got Assurant Health - better and MORE REAL, VERY REAL coverage, double dental, and disabilty insurance for $50.00 LESS than the UA - Insurance. We are so fortunte that we didn't need to use our insurance during the time we had this... so called Insurance. Please be careful.
