The only thing this dealership forgot to do to me was gag me and throw me in the trunk of one of their salvaged cars . Seeing that I went to United Auto Imports, Inc. with good faith and the intention of purchasing a car it really disappoints me that they dealt with me in such a wolf in sheep clothing manner .

Initially I was hoping to buy a nice car as i was told the car was in excellent condition with no accident record and no paint work on it. I saw this car on Auto trader.com placed by Auto Imports Inc.I decided to make a deposit on the car since I was in another state He informed me that company is accommodating and they facilitate statewide customers however ,I could make a down payment on the car and it was not necessary to see the car sine it was in impeccable condition. Unfortunately for me the owner stated that the dealership does not take credit cards and required that I make a direct deposit into their business account . I agreed to make the cash deposit of $1000.00 with his promise to fax the buyers order and car fax report .

This is when the games began one after the other , it was like a day at the race track u never knew what they were going to come with next .He said that the computer was down and he could not send the carfax or buyers report report next he was sick and the stories kept flowing

When i arrived there the car was in a terrible condition ,I simply told him that this car was not what i thought it would be and I want my $1000.00 deposit back .He changed his tongue and said this was impossible I will have to choose another car from the lot .I could not believe this was real .I call the manager who gave me a toss of rude obscene and vile language ad hung up the phone on me .... I called 911 and they were not able to help me they told me that I would have to make a report at the court.

Please save your self and do not get trapped whit this company web of lies and deceit it's highway robbery

I Knew when i read the first one they lied, why would a company refuse to give the money back, you take them to court, they say you lose THEN give the money back. So without you even posting you actually won that case i knew because they told on themselves.

I have heard HORROR stories from many of people about that place. I actually saw a car there once driving by that I liked and really wanted to look at but refused because of who the dealer was....

I friend of mine used to clean cars for them and said that a criminals and change the ved numbers on them. thats probably why the carfax say that they are good but then the actual vehicle says otherwise.

UNITED AUTO IMPORTS-DISHONEST RIP OFF

AUTHOR: Vlad.a - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 30, 2009
UNITED AUTO IMPORTS unlike Tiger will never  admit  there transgressions.
Any credible Honest and Noteworthy  business   would  never post  a  response that a customer attempted to  rob them, This  reveals the  disdain and   vicious contempt  in which  they  hold their customers and operate their business .

I made  a $1000  deposit into  a managers checking account  ,Racked up frequent flier  miles and  flew all the way to Virginia  to victimize united auto imports and attempt to  "scam and rip off "united auto imports. Its crystal clear they are in the wrong line of work ,they are better suited for Hollywood fabricating ,recreating and refurbishing   there vehicles and attempting to pass them  off as  quality and  portraying themselves to be
business for 30 year and   no complaints

Despite United auto imports efforts  to   discredit me and my experience,    be aware that I did take them to court and they were less vocal  and more comical   about there unscrupulous attempt to  swindle and  hoodwink me .They are local terrorist who smile and saythe right things  when they know they are plotting to violate  your intellect and your wallet  Luckily Justice  is   not  blind and the court  ruled   in  my favor and ordered United Auto imports to reimburse me  with my  travel expenses and  the money they  attempted to rob me  . I do not  wish to go back  and forth arguing  with  this company  I have absolutely no reason to lie. ... but  at the end  of the day it  was not about the 1000 bucks , but the heartless attempt  to defraud a   hard working  honest person with good intentions simply willing to make a purchase in good faith .

BE AWARE, BE WARNED I WOULD  HATE TO  KNOW  THAT Innocent  PEOPLE ESPECIALLY IN THIS EONOMY ARE BEING STIFFED  IN UNITED AUTO IMPORTS  WEB OF DISHONESTY .

United is dishonest and tried the same thing with me

AUTHOR: DoyoudotheDew - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 29, 2009

United, over the phone, represented a vehicle to me as being in excellent condition, no previous paint or body work to me too.  The Car Fax supported their claim.  Upon inspection, I found the vehicle's left rear door had been repaired and repainted.  There were also signs of damage to the left rear pillar coming down from the roof.  The paint had been touched up in at least 5 different areas around the vehicle.   The touch up paint used was the kind out of a small bottle with a brush so it was obvious and could be seen from a distance. The tires needed replacing and I was amazed when I was told that they had passed Virginia State Inspection.  The vehicle needed a few other things also.  Dealer also told me they only accept cash or a bank check.  They do not accept personal checks or credit cards.

In the end, I concluded that I would have to spend a few thousand dollars to get everything fixed but would be left with a vehicle that had previous damage.  So their cheap advertised price was really no bargain.  Had they been honest with me about the vehicle's condition over the phone, I would not have wasted my time or theirs.  A dealer can tell if a vehicle has had paint work.  They use their eyes and hands.  They have meters that measure paint thickness and use the meter on all body panels to verify the same thickness.  Any differences are red flags.  As they state they have been in business for 22 years, I concluded they knew about the condition of vehicle and priced it appropriately.  They just didn't disclose it when asked about it.  As such, they committed fraud and are not ethical and honest.

I did not buy it.

We did not Ripoff the consumer the consumer Riped us off

AUTHOR: United Auto Imports - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 14, 2009

The consumer contacted us and requested info about this particular vehicle in regards to the condition and paint work, we told him everything that we he wanted to about the vehicle. He told us that he had a customer for this vehicle in Russia. He asked us to hold the vehicle for him for a week, so we told him he needed to put a deposit of a $1000.00 so that we can hold the vehicle which he did. We held the vehicle for a week and he did not show up to pick up the vehicle.

We contacted him to let us know what happened and he told that he was waiting for his customer to wire him the total amount, and requested for us to hold it for another week which we did. He finally showed up and saw the vehicle test drove it as well and said that the vehicle had pint work which he could not prove at all, we even gave him the option to take it to a professional body man but he refused to so, and told us no this car has paint work and I don't not want it. What he failed to say was that his costumer back out on him and that he did not have the need to purchase the vehicle. We told him that deposit are not refundable as it stated in our add which he agreed to before leaving a deposit. In the time that we held the vehicle for him we had turned down 4-6 customers that came and like to purchased this vehicle. So it was unfair to us that we lose that many customers because we were holding the vehicle for him, we told him this is the reason why deposits are nonrefundable. He told us he was going to take us to court which he and lost the case as well. We told the judge our side with evidence and the only thing he had was the vehicle is painted which he could not prove that it was. We told the judge that we still have the vehicle in stock if the customer wanted to still purchase it. He chose not to and the judge ruled in our favor. When we left the court room we asked him to come to the dealership. When he arrived we told him that we would have given him his $1000 back if he would be honest about what actually happened and why he is not purchasing the vehicle. He kept on telling us because of paint work. We showed him that it had no paint work because we toke the vehicle to a body man and there was no report of paint work at all. We gave his money back to him and told him that what he did was very unfair and by keeping his $1000 wasn't going to make or break us.

We have been in business for 30 years and all I have against my business is two complaints and what I have to say agnist that is you can't make everyone happy.

But I think we have done a good job.

This customer had called in about this X3 as soon as we got it in the inventory he asked us about the paint work which there was none and accident which there was none as well the carfax was clean as well no issues no problems at all with the X3 he told us that he wanted extra pictures so he can show it to his customer so we sent him the pictures and he called us back and wanted to put a deposit to hold it from him until he comes to pick it up. We told him the deposit would be
$1000.00 for two weeks and it would not be refundable and he agreed. So we held the vehicle for almost a month. At the time it was held we had about 6 customer that we turned down who were ready to buy. when he came he had made his mind up allready that he was not coming to buy the car he came to get his deposit back. When he saw the car he pointed something that did not make sense he told us that it had paint work which there was none at all. What really happened that he failed to tell us is that his customer backed out on him and that why he did not want the X3, so realy he owed us more than a $1000.00 because we held it for a month we lost customers that wanted to buy. And when we put it back on the market we had to drop the price because it was sitting for to long so we lost money selling it below what we paid for it. When he took us to court he did not win we decided to give his money back. So in reality he is the one who took advantage of us. We have proof of everything. We have been in business for 22 years and that is not because of ripping people. We pride our selfs in customer serivce. If you have any questions please feel free to call us at 540-658-9999
