I am writing in regards to my recent dealings with a company called United Cash Loans and their "collection" department. I have received 10 phone calls, not even within 24 hours, from someone named Efran, and his voicemails stated that he was calling a returned item and I needed to call him right away. So I called him back, and he informed me that I needed to pay $600 today, or "I will need to contact a lawyer." I asked him what it was in regards to, and he said my loan through 500 FAST CASH, which came back returned. My loan through them was taken out on 10/28/05 for the amount of $300. My first payment for the amount of $90 was set up to be withdrawn from my account. It cleared.

After that, there were ABSOLUTELY no transactions made from 500 FAST CASH on my account-no withdraws, no attempted withdraws resulting in insufficient funds, NOTHING!! And now I am being contacted by a collection company saying that I owe $600. STAY AWAY FROM BORROWING MONEY FROM 500 FAST CASH OR UNITED CASH LOANS--THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF!!!!!! Not only that, but they do not provide you with an address to mail check, cashiers check, or money order to--they only want your account number to debit your payment.

They don't make any sense, considering that I was ready to pay the full on the due date, but they did not attempt to debit it from my account (I went back and checked every one of my banking statements from 9/05-present) but they want to double the amount that you owe for their own d**n stupidity!!! If I were you, I would NOT AT ALL BY ANY MEANS have anything to do with these people--THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AUTHOR: Dont Get A Payday Loan.... - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, February 28, 2008

Some one wrote...
I too have dealt with 500fastcash.com, and other companies as well, but 500fastcash is not like most companies I have dealt with that allow you to go online and pay off your loan early or request extension at the site.

I was unaware just how to pay off this loan since there was no option on the site, so I asked their only rep who informed me to call in at their 800 number on a business day. I did call, and informed rep I wanted to pay off my loan in full effective immediately. First I was told I had to hold to see if I could even do that. She returned and told me I could, but it would have to be 3 business days later which turned out to be 6 days....

Anyhow, I then went and re-read the original payment doc they sent me AFTER they gave me the loan. Funny thing is in California and OKLAHOMA, the law states there can be no extensions on these types of loans, yet their doc informed me to pay off my loan in full, I not only had to fax them my request, but I also had to email customer service; if I did not, then they would automatically renew the loan. Seems to me they should be a bit clearer on their repayment options before granting the loan, not days after the fact.

Regardless, I won't be using them again. I only did it to see if I could, even though I already had done the same at two other sites as well. I wanted to test the rule of only one of these types of loans being allowed at the same time. These companies might say that, but they do not check, that is for sure. Still, I suppose for some, especially during the holidays, these types of loans seem like a dream come true and help folks out even if they end up paying A LOT for the chance to have access to their own funds a few days earlier than normal.
