United Collection Bureau (UCB) Toledo, OH Uncalled for Harrassment Toledo Ohio

I had surgery over 4 years ago and immediately afterwards was a vistim of domestic violence. I went through a divorce and left the state. I had no idea that the medical bills totalled over $4000.00. Once I found out through me credit report, I contacted the collection agency to make payments. I contacted them!

I have been paying through automatic payments for about 4 years. I want to pay this bill and have faithfully been paying since.

I have been harrassed by this collection agency, yelled at, told I had anger issues, even when I am trying to pay. I return their calls just like I did today and was greeted with disdain and hostility as if I were a low life.

They said I needed to authorize the auto payments because their limit was up, but the representative would not stop yelling long enough for me to give her the information. She refused to tell me what she needed, and continued to sling insults. I was yelled at by the representative who refused to let me speak to her supervisor. I just wanted to speak to someone who I could make arangements with and give them what they needed.

They threatened my job, told me they would contact my employer even though I was cooperating and trying to pay the bill! This company needs to be stopped and I am willing to do anything I can to stop them from harrassing other individuals.

For the record, I called back and spoke to another rep in which I had to state, "I am not going to argue, can we please just take care of this?"

Finally, I did. I have never worked so hard to try to do the right thing!
