United Consumer Financial Services Making me pay for a GAP Claim the GAP Insurance Should Cover Ripoff Westlake Ohio
*UPDATE Employee: Incorrect Information
In September 2005, we had a motorcycle that was financed through UCFS. We went through our insurance and our GAP insurance company to get the amount paid off. UCFS added $895 dollars worth of finance charges in a matter of 3 months. I didnt even have that amount in over a year. They are still sending me bills saying I owe them $895 dollars, when they should be going after the GAP insurance company. This is a complete Ripoff. I shouldnt have to payoff the bike.

I'm very sorry that you went through this experience, however, UCFS (United Consumer Financial Services) has never financed motorcycles. We are a consumer finance company who mostly finances household goods from direct sellers. We do not and have never financed motorcycles, automobiles, etc. and because of this there is no GAP insurance or any other kind of insurance available with our contracts.
This person definitely has UCFS confused with another company and I would hope if she reads this she takes the time to look over her paperwork and respond back with the name of the company she actually used for financing.
