In Sept. 2006 I contracted with UDS for credit card debt settlement. I called them many times. My story is very much like everyone else. Lawyers and courts were deluging me. When things got overbearing, all of a sudden I was not able to contact them. They either didn't answer the phone or I got constant busy signals, endless phone loops or disconnections. At some point I did get thru and then found out that in order to cancel them I had to contact them in writing within a specified time before the next bank auto-debit. It was close to Christmas. I quickly wrote that letter, pleading to their better nature and faxed it within their time frame, including the fact of my limited income from SSD (I had become totally disabled). It really got horrendous with no reply from them. I went to the bank and closed the account that I had set up just for their auto-debit and transferred the money to a new account. I lost a total of $783.00 to them. They also have another fax # 800-499-2535, which was the first and only fax number they gave to me. I had trouble faxing my letter to them, so I called them again and got that other fax number. Regardless of my pleas, they did nothing to help nor did they refund any money.

I'd like to add that today I went on-line an filed a consumer fraud report with the Attorney General of Florida, Bill McCollum. Please, anyone, contact him. It may very well be advantageous. They may not be able to get our money back, but it may lead to closing them down or land them in prison. The more participation by others may very well move the State of Florida to take action against UDS, Inc. I'm hoping you'll join in and contact The Attorney General of Florida. Thank you.

Gidgit
I am a ex-employee of this company and I just wanted to let you know the website you have listed in your rebuttal does not belong to United Debt Solutions, Inc. of Orange Park, FL. They can't get their website up due they can't find a webmaster to set it up for them, due to they can't pay the person, due to they spend all they money they rip off from their clients. The company that scammed you has only one physical address and that is the same address they live at (1606 Bristol Place Orange Park, FL 32073). All 3 prior addresses they have been at they have lost due to not paying their rent. This company is run out of their home. I am sure you can see you are not the only one they have scammed. I wish you lots of luck and I agree if a class action is ever brought against them then I will join also.

Rip-off company United Debt Solutions changed their web site address

AUTHOR: Gidget - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 20, 2008

I just recently learned that www.uniteddebtsolutions.com, whose web-site is currently being "redeveloped", now has the web-site, www.CreditCareDirect.com. They're "direct" all right, direct to take your money and not care about giving credit help. They premeditatively go into your already painful situations with the intent to rob you, while you are down and vulnerable. Apparently, they have another address in Florida other then Orange Park. The only thing right about them is stated under their new logo for their new web address, "Helping you take control of your money". If ever a class-action suite ensues, I'd be glad to participate.
