Unfortunatley Velashape treatments are getting a bumb rap and clients are getting 'ripped off' because the laser clinics or md's are not specifying what the manufacturer recommends. These treatments are NOT for anyone with a BMI above 25 for results. The more 'fit' and toned and healthy you are - yes, dare I say, SKINNY the better! The company that makes this brilliant machine, Syneron, does excellent marketing and training and really does specify this for results. It's the md's and laser clinics that are just taking the money and then blaming it on the client for not eating right or changing their lifestyle, etc. If you get a skilled technician or an honest salesperson (there are a few of us...really!) that has your best interest in mind she would not even try to sell you the treatments if you are not a good candidate.
