The company conducts aggressive marketing campaigns (via telephone) to sell "work from home" website businesses for hundreds to thousands of dollars that the company knows in advance will generate very little or no revenue. The company has sold these scam business websites to probably hundreds of victims. The bogus business websites are under the "debtfreerights.com" domain. A Google search on "debtfreerights.com" will show you dozens of sites, each of which has been purchased by a scammed victim of this company.

The company claims that it will pay you $25 for each qualified person who signs up on your website for a free consultation on debt relief. Qualified persons must have at least $10,000 in unsecured debt. The company does NOT do any debt settlement itself. Rather it simply screens people who sign up to make sure they are qualified and then passes them on to a debt relief company with which it has an arrangement. The problem is that these websites will never generate anywhere near the amount of revenue required to recover their costs. The company makes its money from selling the website businesses and advertising (at ridiculously exorbitant prices), so it could care less.

The one victim of this scam whom I know is a widow in her 80s on a fixed income. She was persuaded by this company to purchase a website business and advertising for over $4700. Her website did not generate a single dollar of revenue. She paid, for example, over $2400 for advertising that the company turned around and purchased from another company (www.trafficexcess.com) for under $20. Her entire $4700 investment was lost.
