United Medical Network Distributorships NOT exclusive Deerfield Beach, Florida

I am one of many people, it seems, who were contacted via telephone by a "recruiter" who found my name on a job search website. (I later realized that the recruiter was calling from the same telephone number as UMN).

The "recruiter" arranged a telephone "job interview" with Joe Langner, president. His pitch sounded credible, whereas I was invited to fly to the home office in Deerfield Beach, FL, but I had to bring a check for $10,000 in order to purchase an "exclusive" distributor territory in North Carolina. I was told that "95% of UMN distributors earn $100K - $180K" by selling to chiropractors.

I also called several existing UMN "distibutors" (names and numbers provided by Langner) who claimed to be making good money, but my opinion now is that these were fake or paid references.

Soon after I returned home and got to work, I was contacted by another UMN "distributor", who saw some of my advertisements and informed me that he purchased the same "exclusive" distributor territory from UMN several months prior. We both realized that we had been duped.

I'm not sure if UMN's practices are illegal, but they certainly are unethical and a bad deal for the "distributors".

Don't buy into this scam! Chiropractors don't like the products, and don't like the service! I was stuck with many boxes of useless "Diagnostic Test Kits", and a large whole in my bank account.
