I agree with the person who wrote before me, my family was working with UMS for a while now and had a person I would call to check on the status was on the modification. All of the sudden I didnt get phone calls or replies to my emails, and their phone was not working either.

The person that was responsible to updating me with the status has left. I have not heard a thing from that company. I felt like it was a scam for them to do this. I believe that if one leaves another should be replaced in his/her place to continue the communication with customers. I am not very happy with the way they are doing business. My family paid $3,000 as well for the service but nothing has come out of it.

They told us not to communicate with the bank only with them and anything and everything we get from the bank to fax to them. So I was doing that, then all of the sudden the bank started calling about how the modification is not going to go through because they have not received any of the documents they requested (which i was told to fax directly to UMS and not send anything to the bank).

We are now getting phone calls from the bank stating we owe so much money and that we are not going to be considered for the modification anymore because they did not receive all the documents they had mailed to be filled out and returned to them.

I dont think UMS knows what they are doing at all. I am not satisfied with their handling of business and customer service.

Fake Complaints

AUTHOR: Pricipal Partner - ()

POSTED: Thursday, July 11, 2013

As a former Principal of United Mortgage Solutions ("UMS") I must raise issue with the two complaints lodged here. (I also raise issue with the spelling and grammar within the complaints...)

First and foremost, neither complaint alleges the correct amount was paid for a UMS modification service. This leaves me skeptical that the complaintants were actual UMS clients. One complaint alleges $2,000 was paid to UMS; another indicated $3,000. Neither of these amounts comport with the actual amount required for the UMS modification service. $3,995 per, to wit. However, if the client was on a payment plan and failed to pay - UMS would have suspended services. This happened often. Furthermore, when SB94 became law - UMS was no longer able to legally perform ANY services and thus closed its doors. You can thank Senator Calderon for that.

It is a sad thing that so many homeowners went through such a tough time in the down economy but, UMS was hardly a "scam". UMS saved 116 homes and three homeowners received their homes free and clear. Hardly a scam.

Lastly, to say that the personnel at UMS didn't know what they were doing: well that's just ignorant and slanderous. Anyone who knows the formal personnel of UMS - knows we d**n well know what we're doing...
