United Property & Casualty -from St. Petersburg, Florida  notorious for scaring customers into going in front of hired attorneys to take Under Oath Examination where the insureds homeowners are required to bring to the "interrogation" room all types of documents, invoices to make either trip self-incriminate or simply scare you in to not going to the conference. Failure to bring any material documts or not attending will disqualify you from proceeding with your claim. a tactic that in many Carrriers and other in the industry would considers UNFair & PREMEDITATED BAD FAITH.

Just try your luck. Ask for a copy of the adjusters estimates on any old claim you have filed previously, and sure enough next thing you know you will get a NOTICE CERTIFIED Mail of an already set Under Oath Examination withUnited hired attorneys.

I don't know of any other Insurance Company that plays this game so well. The get you premium but to get paid for your losses is another story. If you made it thu the  Under Oath Examination, then step into second round with United "Trained Subcontracted Adjusters". Willing to pay you almost nothing to negotiate a final release and close the claim.  

If you have a claim to work with United y best advise. Either hire a lawyer or a Public Adjuster - Don't go at it alone.
