I received literature in the mail from United Sales & Book Publishing, Inc. regarding stapling catalogs for a $10 payment for each catalog. The offer sounded good and it came at a time when I could use some extra money. I sent a $75 money order so as to receive 75 catalogs with all the pertinent information that goes with them to begin working at home. Never received anything from the company at all. The phone number that was included with the original literature is nothing more than a recording thanking you for calling and registering with their company - at the end of the recording it says that the mailbox is full.

I would like to receive information on how to obtain my $75 back from a company that seems so intent on scamming innocent people who work hard and are only trying to make an extra buck here and there to continue to make ends meet in this hard economy.

Please feel free to contact me either by e-mail or by phone. Thank you.

$319.77 of our money was sent to these crooks and there doesn't seem to be any help

My husband and I lost $319.77 to these people and the other day they sent us a letter that stated here was the complete refund and it was a check of $47.50. It is ubsurd. They have been contacted by the BBB and I sent them a copy of the report that I filled with rip-off report.com I have still not heard anything. I have made myself sick worring about the money that they have stole from us. I think they should have to compensate us with more than we are owed due to stress on us and our families. I have even contacted our local news station that is supposed to help people like us against people like them and they have yet to respond to me. I don't think that there is help for us from anywhere. If you have any luck my email address is hazeleyescu77@yahoo.com please let me know.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Sorry to hear that you've been scammed.

Dear Martha, I am really sorry to hear that you have fallen victim to this scam, I too, have fallen for this one. Sorry to say with the utmost confidence, that this is nothing but a scam. Envelope stuffing, catalog stapling, medical claims billing, etc, simply do not exist. These are all fraudulent/non-existing companies that use deceptive advertisments to steal innocent and hard working peoples money and it shocks me that they have not all been closed down yet. NO COMPANY WOULD EVER PAY THIS KIND OF MONEY FOR SIMPLE WORK THAT CAN BE DONE OUT OF SOMEONES HOME!! They all have machines nowadays that can do this type of work a hundred times faster, so no matter what they say, IT'S A SCAM!! Even if a company elected not to keep up with technology and purchase modern day equipment, it would still be a lot cheaper for them to hire ten employees and pay them minimum wage with full benefits. What I would like to suggest to you is get yourself a copy of the Rip Of Revenge, because if nothing else, you'll at least have general tips and ideas on how to wake up in the morning feeling great! I am currently in a credit card dispute with a company that sold me the "dream" but delivered nothing but crap. I am not letting them get away with it and I will continue to pursue them relentlessly until the day I die. Any company that is willing to rob people in public and is also willing to jeopardize any of the companies future sales is a flat out scam. Even if I only save a couple thousand people from being scammed by these thugs, I have done my duty. I wish you the best of luck in pursuing a refund. Until next time, Take Care Cause I Care, Aloha From Hawaii, & God Bless.

P.S. If you have time be sure to check out my report. Go back to the home page and search John Beck. Don't let their inactivity fool you into thinking that they are off doing wonderful things, for I think that is their intention for laying low at this time.
