I received a call from United Travel Network. It was difficult to understand the "agent" but I did want to listen to see what company he was from. What threw me off was he kept saying that I signed up for this and "won". I cannot remember ever signing up for something, but he had a specific date...so I agreed to listen to the rest of his speech. His manager came on to give me the specifics of the so-called deal, but I knew already it was a scam.

He wouldn't confirm how long the presentation was or what I needed to do. All he kept saying was there was "no obligation to buy". I also didn't like that he kept confirming my marital and income status. I did a two second google search and came across others who expressed similar concern of the company and who had terrible experiences with United Travel Network. They kept offering the same prizes, the Lincoln Navigator, the cash, trip to Cancun or Orlandon, etc. Yet, wouldn't offer any real specifics.

These scams come along often, and usually I hang up within 5 seconds. this guy threw me off b/c he insisted that I had already signed up for it. Total Scam. i never did, neither did my husband.

Stay away, and don't waste the 10 minutes I did listening to their con.

I atteneded the presentation in Northbrook at United Travel and I found that the "gift" that was promised was delivered. I did sit through a 90 minute presentation and listen about the program of which they are the sales office for. Frankly I found it fascinating and if my finances would allow I would have purchased it on the spot!
It seems to me that the people who are looking for fault within a company or thinking they are being ripped off must be scammers themselves. Their product is solid and as far as the gift goes....there are tax implications with everything that you get...free or not.
Maybe if you had not been closed minded not only would you have had the gift they promised you but also been able to take advantage of a terrific travel package!
Sorry you missed out. I am off to Mexico thanks to them! ; )
