For all those techs out there that have been ripped off by UnitedDataCom please that note and think about what I am about to tell you here.

First, UnitedDataCom was removed from several of the work platforms for non-payment for the work performed.

Second, the CEO, Aaron Barnes, is a young man who graduated from college in 2012. College taught him well in the ways of creative business operation.

Third, the company, Celera Tech Inc. of Schererville Indiana, now uses Aaron Barnes as a consultant so they will not "tarish" their name.  I guess they are trying to learn the tricks of the trade for a pro.

Fourth, review the work orders sent to you by UnitedDataCom. Are they from UnitedDataCom or direct from other companies. Consider this, if the work order is from another company they may be "on the hook" for the payments for work completed.

Fifth, how to go about trying to get paid. If the work order is from another company contact that company and request payment for the work done on their behalf. They will likely tell you they do not owe you anything but there may be options available to you. In most states a contractor can file a mechanic's lien against the company or property who received the benefit of your work and materials. When you file the lien besure to put the name of the company who issued the work order as the reason for the lien. Also, name any other companies listed on the work order as contributing to the lien.

Sixth, maybe instead of complaining you contact the Feds and file a fraud complain again the CEO Aaron Barnes.

Mail and Wire Fraud Definition

The federal government makes it a crime to use the mail or any wire communications technology, including the Internet, as part of a scheme to defraud. Because of the broad nature of these laws, mail and wire fraud are commonly charged in a wide range of cases. For example, people who pay a bribe or kickback to government officials typically use the phone or mail a letter at some point in the process.

Did you receive you work order via e-mail?

With the number of people that went unpaid it is clear he was sending out work orders with no intent to pay for the services and materials provided. (Fraud)

I hope this gives everyone some ideas. The only thing I can say is don't give up if you run over a bump in the road. Make sure this guy will never pull this again. Report this guy to the Feds and they will give him the time of his life!
