I got a phone call from Universal Adventures back on July 9th telling me that I won a trip to Orlando Florida. The women on the phone was talking so fast and mumbled words like refundable which didn't catch my attention till after i gave her my credit card info.
First she said that she needed my CreditCard Information for verification, then she explained to me that this Package is worth over 2000$ and that i would have to pay only 185$ just for verification purposes.
She constantly asked me for my CreditCard Information just for verification so she can send me my free Vacation Package (that i won) via e-mail but I wanted more Information so I continuously asked for the Website so i can see if this Company existed and its true what she claimed i won.
So i gave her my CreditCard Information and she said i had to pay 489$ for the Voucher. Then i told her that I want to cancel the transaction because why should I have to pay 489$ for a trip that i "won"? But then she said that this transaction is nonrefundable and was already charged to my CreditCard.
So then I asked them that i wanted to hear the recording because she didn't mention that it was non-refundable. So I was on the phone for a long time with these ppl that totally ripped me of.
So I sent an e-mail to my CreditCard Company right away saying that it was a Scam/fraud but i got no answer.
Turns out i didn't win anything i had to pay for the whole package which is totally misleading.
I paid 500$ for a "free vacation" which doesn't even include a plane ticket????
Hopefully this report can help ppl so they dont get scamed by Universal Adventures.

If you get a call saying you won a free vacation no honest person will ask for a credit card number. Tell them, no thanks. Otherwise expect a charge on your credit card.
DON'T GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO ANYONE WHO CALLS YOU, IF YOU DON'T KNOW THEM.
You should call your credit card company and report and unauthorized charge on your card. It will most likely be removed.
