The exact same things i have just read here has happened to me recently...i thought i was losing my mind but after reading all this i'm very clear what is happening we have been scamed & defrauded and i would like all of you to please contact me via email so we can collectively take legal action! I purchased a car i had to put a thousand dollars down, with subsequent payment weekly to pay off the deposit & the car broke down the day i drove it home!
Needless to say i am fully aware of what's going on & i have no intention of losing the several thousands i have already paid without doing something about it! Without elaborating further because i would like to file a complaint and pursue legal action please contact me via email so we may hopefully join together to get some justice! It appears that there is no shortage of suckers in the world as our educational system hits rock bottom in this country.
First of all, understand that you are only dealing with a company like this because you have already proven that you are a loser...a deadbeat...and financially irresponsible.
With that said, what does your contract say?
I would bet that the terms of sale were "AS-IS", right?
Or maybe a 30 day "limited warranty", or the like.
Used cars break down.
That's a fact of life.
If you did not have any form of a written guarantee on the vehicle, you simply don't have a case.
That's the way the real world works.
Grow up.
