Universal Gas And Electric Corp universal gas has been charging me for there service for about two years know. I have tried time and time again to stop the service my bill for electric and gas is running me between $500.00 and $600. Internet

My name is Jackie,
For the past 2 years Universal Gas & Electric corp. has been charging me for service though DTE. My bill every month is between $500.00 and $600.00 dollars, I have been put on a shut off plan but even that runs me $332.00 a month. It has got to the point to where i can't afford to pay all my bills every month I have four children. I live in a moblie home there is no reason that my bill should be this much every month I really need help i don't know what to do anymore. Please help me anyone.

Gas and electric utilities are regulated by the Michigan Public Service Commission. If you haven't had any luck dealing with the utility company directly, you should contact them. There website is :

to whom this may concern,
I tried to talk with a rep. at universal gas today and they would not help me at all. I also spoke with a rep and DTE today and they even told me that universal gas was ripping me off. If there is anyone that can possibly help me get in touch with someone that can help please get in touch with me as aoon as possible.thank jackie
