Frank Hamilton Or Linda Robert home improvement grant scam! Brooklyn New York

i had gotten a letter in the mail saying i won a home improvement grant. they sent me a check in the amount of $4,550.55 told me to call them before cashing.
so i call and i was told to cash the check at a bank draw out $3,150.00 and go to western union and send money to a tracy cole 1933 union street,brooklyn new york 11230 and then call linda roberts back and give her the number from western union and they would give me the date when to receive the $36,449.45 from fed ex..
this seems a little bit of a scam so i thought i would look up the address and then i found someone else talking about something almost like mine.
so now i think mine is a scam,but thank god i didnt cash the check..i am saving the letter and check for anyone interrested in seeing this scam.
