This Company is nothing but a scam. I was promised high quality white hat SEO and training. Instead what I got was cheap SEO, people that never listened, blame always passed to the next guy, meetings missed and canceled last minute, work done for the wrong keywords and city.

Whe i signed up they said they would train me to do additional SEO that way we raise to the top of google faster. The entirty of my training was here is an article we wrote, write one like it that is 300-350 words. Well submit it for you.

The high quality links i was promised we built on websites like justpaste.it, and template pages they built on google for my business that had not authority. I even asked about that and they said its quality, its on google afterall.

I constantly tried to call them to have meetings to get on the same page, the meeting was always scheduled to next week. and more often than not right before the meeting i was emailed to ask if we could move it, or just not called at all.

I was also promised help on my website that never came. I called the manager of my project manager, he did nothing but make empty promises. I called the CEO and it was more of the same. I would even call to just talk to my project manager and the CEO would be the receptionist on multiple occasions.

The worst part was after the first month they gave me a rank report that i know was falsified. I get SEO rank reports from multiple quality websites that both match up with one another, and what I find when searching my terms on google from multiple computers. I talked to each of them about this and I got nothing but excuses. for example i already have three words at 1, they reported them to be in the 20s to 40s. the others were initially reported to be extremely low. I was told they would be adjusted. Now over 2 months later, after firing them they sent me a report that said here are your current ranks, which are what they always were, and here are your old ranks, which were the same falsified documents. We did a lot of good work for you. If anything I am slightly worse off than i was when hiring them.

If you think about working with this company just go to google partners, they have a list of trusted SEO companies. I found these guys on a top 10 SEO list that is obviously junk. The only companies I might trust at this point are ones google recommends.

Thank you for the Retraction

AUTHOR: Universal Positions - ()

POSTED: Thursday, September 04, 2014

We are happy to see that Mr. Menezes has retracted his original complaint. It is a perfectly understandable human response to lash out when one is angry. Mr. Menezes' original complaint, while unfortunate, is predictable.

Universal Positions prides itself in the work we do for all of our clients. The services we provide and the way we treat our clients can be considered exemplary. This is the very reason why we have never had one single complaint against us since we established the company.

While all of our employees share in the company philosophy, they are not infallible. The particular employee who attracted the ire of Mr. Menezes has since been put on probation and undergone extensive retraining. Our company works too hard and too earnestly to have its reputation besmirched just because one of our employees did not act the way they were supposed to.

To anyone who has intentions of working with us in the future, this was a completely isolated incident. We have put stringent measures in place to ensure there is no repeat. We, at Universal Positions, work with our clients as if we are their online marketing partners, and we strive to treat each and every client with the respect and attention they deserve.

GREAT COMPANY - EXPERIENCE WITH BAD EMPLOYEE

AUTHOR: JONMENEZES - ()

POSTED: Thursday, July 10, 2014

I originally wrote this report under the impression that everyone at the company was the same. I have since learned that I was dealing with a terrible employee, who has since been dealt with and no longer is a problem for myself or any of their future clients.

I contatacted Ripoff Report to explain this to them, and to get the report removed entirely due to the company not being properly represented in my comments. I was referring to an experience with an individual employee and was under the wrong impression that it spred throughout the company. They will not remove the report no matter what. So i hope anyone that reads this report sees it as a positive.

Once i was able to talk to the owner he was shocked to hear what I had gone through and immeditaly took action. I have since seen nothing but great service and would highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering doing SEO. They have since shown that they take great care of all of their customers and I have seen nothing but positive results. The owner and other employees have been nothing but upstanding in my experiences with them.

5 STAR REVIEW ON YELP. I recommend this company to others. Take the Initial Report and the quick action and great service from everyone else as a Positive and not Negative.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Our response

AUTHOR: Universal Positions - ()

POSTED: Thursday, June 26, 2014

The allegations made by Mr. Menezes are completely baseless and untrue. In the seven years our company has been in business, we have not had one single complaint or negative review posted against us by any of our clients until Mr. Menezes’. The reason it took us so long to post a rebuttal is because we have never needed to check sites like “Rip-off Report” for client comments. It takes a lot of honest, hard work to maintain a reputation this clean and unsullied.

Mr. Menezes accuses us of being a scam company, but then goes on to admit that we DID do the work, we DID respond to his questions and he DID talk to his project manager whenever he called. He even admits that he was able to reach our CEO when he had issues he wanted resolved. If I go to a restaurant and I do not like their food, it does not make the restaurant a scam. If you do not like our work, do not do business with us anymore. You have no right to call us a scam!

The truth is Mr. Menezes signed up for our lowest-priced Organic Optimization program. When we enrolled him, we told him that the program he signed up for was really basic and might not have enough firepower to get him the kind of results he was expecting. But he told us that this is all he could afford. As a courtesy, we offered to show him how to do some additional work on his own to help him get better rankings on the search engines. We were not obligated to provide him additional advice, but chose to do so. We even offered to create additional content on his website. We went above and beyond what we do for any other client on similar packages just to keep him a happy client. He had only been with us for six weeks! There was no way we could deliver concrete results in such a short period of time. It was just not a long enough time for anyone to judge the results of our work fairly.

Mr. Menezes decided to stop working with us after just six weeks of service. During those six weeks, he called us every other day with this complaint or that. He insisted we give him the training we had promised him and kept on saying it was part of the contract (which it was not). We did put some time aside and show him how to post additional articles on his own (something he admits we did in his allegation) and showed him a few other things he could do as well.

At the end of six weeks, he came to us making accusations that we were doing substandard work, we were lying to him about the reports we were providing, etc and demanded a refund on his monthly fees. We pointed out to him that all his claims were unfair and we can prove that we have been doing our work exactly the way his contract requires us to, and therefore he was not entitled to a refund. We further pointed out that if there were errors in the ranking reports we provided him, it was not because we were falsifying results. The reports are computer generated and cannot be manipulated in any way.  If our company really was a scam, Mr. Menezes could have easily gone to his credit card company and claimed we scammed him. He did not. The reason he never tried do so is because he knows very well that we did the job he hired us for, and we can prove it.

Once Mr. Menezes realized that he could not dupe us into giving him the money we earned, he decided to harm us the only way he could—by posting lies about us on the internet.  Posting false allegations online do not require any evidence and that is why Mr. Menezes decided to post all these malicious statements against us. If one of Mr. Menezes’ clients go online and call him a scam artist, only then would he understand how pathetic and vindictive his actions were.

Lastly, Mr. Menezes should really take his own advice and go to Google Partners to find a list of trusted Online Marketing companies. We ARE a Google Certified Partner. Sorry, Mr. Menezes, we are not interested in working with you again.
