Universal Rewards & Trust Co. Universal Rewards Rip Off Letter Additional Montclair, New Jersey

I recieved a letter today from Universal Rewards & Trust Co. Like many before me, I to received a letter with a check inside for $4875.00. The letter read, "do not to cash until I spoke with someone", then I could deposit the check, and send them the "taxes" in the amount of $2875.

Unfortunately for this company, my brother is the Deputy Postal Inspector of the United States. He works in Washington, and this letter will be sent to him, immediately. He has already confirmed to me, that this is indeed Fraud. I think that would qualify as a big "OOPS"!!!! Yes, folks this is fraud. Mail fraud in fact, and hopefully once this letter goes straight to the top, which it will, this company will be shut down permanently.

I have found that most who receive this letter have been victims of Natural Disasters, such as hurricanes, flood, etc. There is a link between the two. I suppose they figure folks won't mind sending them their insurance money in order to recieve a lot more down the road. Please contact anyone you know to let them know about this scam/fraud. I fear some poor elderly person would actually fall for it. And once banking information is out there on the Super Highway, it's over.
