Universal Technical Services failed to fix treadmill Logan Utah

We purchased an extended contract from them when we bought our Nordictrack treadmill at Sears. Two years later (December 2008) we called to have the treadmill tuned up. They sent a local company to do the work. After that, the treadmill, which was working, would not work; the belt stopped after about 10 minutes. The company came out again, 2 weeks later, and attempted to fix the problem, but the problem remained. The local company then said the treadmill was unfixable, and they would recommend to UTS to send a new treadmill. After no action, I called UTS and they said that they were sending another company to fix the existing treadmill. I have not been contacted by any other company, and the hold time while calling UTS has exceeded 45 minutes.

This service contract is worthless. It cost $185. The treadmill was working (just needed tuning up), and now it is not. UTS has been unresponsive to fixing this problem. I had heart surgery this past year and depend on the treadmill for walking 3 miles per day, and it has been out of commission for 5 weeks. This company is a ripoff.
