UNIVERSAL WINDOWS LLC said they would not honor the lifetime warranty when the window broke West Berlin New Jersey

 I have a "lifetime warranty" on the replacement windows these people installed. The window "balance spring" broke, so I called to have it repaired.

The person who came out, I think his name was JOE, yelled at me, saying I broke the window and if he had to come out again, he would not honor the warranty.

When I tried to explain that in the five years since the windows were installed, this was the first one that broke, and if I didn't know how to open and close the windows properly, many other windows would have broken in that time, he continued to raise his voice and yell.

He then left, saying he would call when the parts were in, and slammed the door. This is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with.  Do not deal with this company.
