University Alliance Sucks
Contact us: universityalliancesucks@lycos.com
http://universityalliancesucks.tripod.com/

BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMANY YOU SHOUD KNOW:

*They form contracts with schools who need to boost sales then they pay for the leads. They call you constantly and will never stop calling you. Even if you tell them your not interested.

*If you agree, they proceed to swindle you into buying their books, books that are not even from the university, they come straight from bisk the books cost 39.99- 49.99 retail, bisk charges you 200-500 for that book, you could have gotten at a regular bookstore for about 30-40 bucks.

WHY PAY THEM WHEN YOU CAN CONTACT THE COLLEGE'S THERE PAN HANDLING DIRECTLY? YOU DON'T KNOW THIER THE MIDDLE MAN, THEIR MAKING A PROFIT BY BEING THE MIDDLE MAN, THE SECOND YOU ARE NOT INVOLVED WITH BISK EDUCATION aka UNIVERSITY ALIANCE THEY STOP MAKING MONEY.

THEY OVER CHARGE YOU FOR THE BOOKS! NOT LIKE 20-30 ,MORE LIKE 200-500 EVEN IF YOU DONT BUY THIER BOOKS THEY STILL CHAGE YOU A $200.00 FEE! "DO YOU THINK A GOOD COMPANY WOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ITS CUSTOMERS AND DO THAT?"

This company swindles people, they lie about financial aid and tell you anything you want to hear just to get your credit card number. They wont send you anything in the mail, which is a sign of fraud all in its own. This company is a fraud. Not only to its customers but to its employees as well. I dont feel good about pressuring people into commiting to over priced fees for books and tuituin and lying to students and telling them florida tech is the best option because no one even knows or has heard of fl tech.

University alliance sucks! bisk is a Fraud, nathan Bisk treats his employees like crap no wonder no one thier except upper managment meaning the corporate corporate people, have ben thier very long. When I first became employed thier no one in human resource or anyone i had worked with had been their for more than 3 months.

University alliance is a plague upon this earth and is not a great company to work for at all. If they need to get rid of you they will find away whether it be going through your emails and finding something to fire you about, that way you cant collect unemployment or file suit against them. Do you think its a coincidence that they lay of 15 people and fire others as well? No its all apart of thier evil plan.
I tell you what I wont keep my mouth shut, an eye for an eye do us all a favor and spread this website to anyone and everyone.

Red29programrep Rant Lacks Credibility

AUTHOR: B_Collins - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 10, 2012

Wow! Red29programrep sounds like nothing more than a disgruntled former employee.

I am a current, non-management, employee of Bisk Education/University Alliance. I have worked here over a decade and, contrary to Red29programreps assertion,  I know a lot of others who have worked here as long or longer.

My understanding is that few books come from the university. Books come from publishers. University Alliance does not require people to buy them here. The choice of vendor is theirs. You can buy new college books at a book store for a premium. If you choose to do so, does that mean you were swindled by the bookstore? No. It means you weren't a good shopper.

Bisk offers books as a convenience to the students of the universities they service. The University Alliance makes its earnings by providing Internet infrastructure for universities to make their programs available online. Additionally, University Alliance publicizes these online programs and handles the enrollment process.

All of this results in streamlining the process for both the universities and distant enrollees. These benefits results in costs that are no secret, but are considered a value by virtue of the hundreds of thousands of courses people in which have enrolled through this process. Still, it is always wise for the buyer to be aware.

If you, as an employee, swindled people, lied about financial aid, or told people anything they wanted to hear just to get their credit card number, shame on you. It is a good thing you went on your way. Bisk tells us all up front that the company email system is theirs. If they are finding something to fire you about, it is because you did something warranting your dismissal.

It is their responsibility to their customers to assure that they arent being misrepresented, and that their client universities arent being misrepresented, so if they found damning emails on your account, good for them. It is common for companies to lay-off employees, usually starting with the least effective ones. This is sad, but necessary to maintain efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.

Lastly, I have personally witnessed Nathan Bisk treating several employees on various levels with unnecessary kindness. He is not known for being warm and fuzzy, and he is a hard-nosed businessman, but he is also compassionate and loyal to those who have served the business and its customers well.

My advice to you, Red29programrep, is this. Learn to write and to make your point more effectively. Higher education can help with this. If you dont get help from University Alliance, get help somewhere.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

You don't have to buy your books from them

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 23, 2009

I was trying to sign up with Florida Technical University via University Alliance. The books are very expensive, but college books are very expensive.

You do not have to buy your books from them. You can attempt to provide your own books. However, if you don't have the exact book and the exact revision when the class starts, you might have problems. Asking the school to ship the book after class already started is too late.

At least they are not as big of a ripoff as Kaplan University is!
