University Of Phoenix Online College Horribly Frusterating Learning and Financial Experience with UoP Online phoenix.edu Internet

UoP is very easy to enroll in but very hard and frusterating to withdraw from. I find it INTERESTING that I am NOT the ONLY one to withdrawl from the UoP after ONE week. I am now expecting a bill over 500.00 for 1 week of school.

I filled out an information request online and within one minute (literally) I received a call from the University. I spoke with with the advisor and was faxing information to be enrolled in a program. Next thing I knew, I was a Bachelor os Science Criminal Justice student which was repeatedly mistaken as a Masters Student. The advisor was friendly flirtatious and told me I would practically qualify for a grant and my school would be 'taken care of' but had me file a stafford loan request 'just in case'.. It all was very fishy but very quick-- I was in class the next week!

The class was a joke, there was so much reading material and I was assigned a 'learning team' which was never explained to me. I don't work in groups and will not accept the fate of my college career to rely on the willingness of others. I was also enrolled in a "Workshop" which was 3 days long that I managed to FAIL.

I was constantly receiving phone calls throughout the workday from the staff and I did not have time to talk to them everyday. I explained over and over that I did not want to receive calls all the time.
After not hearing from the financial aid department within the week, not knowing the cost of school, and the failing the workshop fiasco, I called to withdraw and was harassed and told I would not be able to handle any college. (I have attended a community college and a private college and have over 60 hours of class with a maintained 3.5 GPA)

Surely the 500.00 is not legitimate? I am very angry about this and do not know how I will react when I receive the bill.

Anyone else taking action? I want to jump on the band wagon. I don't want my crdit to get dinged if I blow this joke of a "University" off. I will pay their "processing fee" but not for the week of class which was basically putting up with an airheaded professor.
