Unknown Phone Call | UnknownPhoneCall.com | Fake Phone # Lookup Site - Total SCAM

This fake phone number lookup site is run by Francis Calma. There are legitimate websites for looking up phone numbers, but this is not one of them. It's a complete and total SCAM. If you go to http://www.unknownphonecall.com, you will first notice that the search box on their home page is fake. If you enter a phone number, or anything else for that matter, the end result is the same. It will take you to a third party website (spokeo.com) where they try to sell you something. The owner of Unknown Phone Call is likely getting a commission when you do.

Also, if you click any of the area codes at the bottom of their home page, select a prefix on the next page, and then a full number on the page after that (it doesn't matter which one, the end result is always the same), the complaints being shown are bogus and auto generated. It's nothing but spam and there's nothing legitimate or authentic about it. They have a database of fake complaints that are dynamically generated when you click on a number. Just click the refresh button in your browser when your looking at a number on their website. The fake comments will often change. You will also notice that the comments have the same timestamp on them.

My reason for filing this complaint is that they're attempting to get every possible phone number indexed. They are slandering the owners of legitimate phone numbers with fake complaints that could damage their reputation. I am seeing more of their complaints pop up on Google and you should be aware of the scam they're running.
