I decided to have a tiny house on wheele built by Michael Tveter who owns Upper Valley Tiny Homes in Utah. Once he bid the job and we decided to write a contract and it was signed, he offered me a discount of 5% of the total cost if I paid in full, which I did to the tune of $75,000.00. Once he received my wire, he rarely returned calls, emails etc. I became pretty unconfortable with him not responding, so I asked if I could just get my money back as I had lost trust.
Months of waiting and false promises, I filed a claim with the BBB of Utah. The next day I received a bankruptcy notice. This guy claim he has only made $8,000 this year, yet I am out $75k.
I saw the rip-off report against the same company, so I decided to call her attorney, who has 5 other clients that this guy stole from (out of the approx. 60 others).
Stay away from this person-anything he is involved in is some kind of a sceme. Kris E.

I also was scammed out of a large sum of money ($44k) for a tiny home I never received. I also was offered a discount for paying in full. If anyone has any information that would be helpful I would appreciate it; felicity0809@gmail.com is my email address.

I hope you remember me!
My name is Kris Meyer and I spoke to you after you filed this rebuttal on this site-I am from Colorado and lost $75,000 to him. You had let me know the name of the new company that Mike Tveter from Upper Valley tiny homes had recently started. I somehow misplaced this infromation and I need to get the name of the new company to the Lindon Police Dept. Can you email it to me (krisesta67@gmail.com) or text it to me at 720.810.1400.
Tveter please guilty to theft by decepotion and forgery and will be sentenced May 10 in Utah County, but only for a trailer he stole and forged papers on but it's a start! Thank you so much!!

The case number is 171-402-403 and the attorneys office contact is Patty at 801-851-8026. If you have not files a complaint with Lindon police department, do it ASAP; hopefully it is not too late to get in on it.

Hello Kris. Im sorry to hear about your misfourtune with Mr Tveter. Me and my partner have also had the same luck. We were able to repo 3 4 homes from Mike before he split. We have titles and everything but im wondering if one of them is your build? We are eager to make this right with everyone involved.
