I have an account with Upside prepaid debit card services..my acount has online check writing available..i wrote a check to myself for $20 and was charged $2 to send check. My account history shows the amt $20 was deducted Aug. 10th from my acct to send online check .. i never received check so i called them and they told me it takes 7 to 10 business days..i called again a few days later and they told me they never sent the check because i had no money in my account I told them at time i sent check i had money in my acct. And ask to speak to supervisor the same person came back on phn and said the check was mailed and i would receive it on Fri.. the check still never came so i called back again on sat. And they put me on hold then hung up on me .. i called back again and they told me there was nothing that could be done and to wait til Monday and kept asking me what check am i talking about he was trying to play stupid..i told them i wanted to cancel check and they said if i wanted to cancel check i had to send them a letter in writing and be charged $20 cancellation fee..

Everytime i call upside to inquire about my money i am charged .99 for automated call and $2.00 to speak to a live person

I filed a report against upside Co. for a check I never received Ripoff Report investigated the matter for me and i received immediate results. Upside Co. contacted me by email and phone and apologized for misunderstanding and let me know that the check had been returned for incomplete address. The upside Co. resolved the matter quickly and reversed any service charges related to the check..I am veryi satisfied with the response from upside card.. I greatly appreciate this website Ripoff Report for helping consumers who feel that they have been a victim of fraud.
