I don't know what to do now after seeing others have the same problem. I joined USCM in Jan 04 and paid them $404.00 a month until Jun 04. In Jan 05 the Sheriff came to my house to serve me papers from one of my creditors. I filled out a form at the courthouse and told them I was in a debt program with USCM so I would not have to file bankrupty.
I faxed the court papers to USCM because they told me to and they would contact that Law Office. I e-mailed them asking about the case and for someone to call me. My negociator called me and he told me they had NOT contact that creditor because they needed 25% of the money in my escrow and I needed to give them $1500.00 more.
I was in tears because my acct rep had been telling me they were working with that creditor and that was just a lie. I cannot reach anyone at USCM now and I stopped payment in Jun05. I got a letter from them the other day saying they had paid an acct off, but did not tell me how much they paid and they are supposed to contact me before they pay anything off.
After over a year they did pay off one car that had a balance of $1100.00 at this point and they paid it for $500.00. Based on the payment schedule if they pay for half I will not have enough money to pay off all the creditor so that is why I stopped payment. Now I don't know what to do because I am out about $6000.00 that I paid to them. I only had $2800.00 in escrow in May05 and who knows what is left since they did not tell me what they paid on that last bill. What do I do? I want to sue them, but don't know how to begin. I'm wondering if we all could not get together and file one big lawsuit? Please help me. My parents lost their house 2yrs ago and my Father has cancer and is slowly dieing. At this point I don't know were to turn.

No hope of getting a settlement on Discover Card
AUTHOR: Helen - (U.S.A.)

Thanks to USCM for screwing me over with my Discover Card they will only take full payment $13000.00 and I don't have that. They filed papers to sure me in Feb and I filed a reply and have not heard back from the court so I guess since I am paying into a Debt management program I will not be taken to court. Now I have to find a way to get a lawyer to sue them. I was able to get one collecter to give me the April 2005 settlement if I call them back on 7/28/05 so we will see how that goes. If you don't take the settlement offers and they expire the next one is higher so USCM waiting just costs me more money.
