    What I find saddening is the number of people that think this is some sort of new development.   Politicians have never given straight answers.  They have not been shy about lying when it was politically expedient.  Basically, if you're not a self serving jerk, you will not last long in national politics and it's been that way for as long as I can remember.

I cannot have a logical debate or discussion with people like you who think that "telling the "whole" truth is not the same as lying" ... That's one problem with man, the "grey area" you perceive.  You are so used to the nonsence that you only think about yourself and then make up the rules of nature as you go ... To start, on the politicians thing, it's basically their job to not tell the whole truth and seek reelection, but that isn't the same as lying. Also do you have any examples to support your (lets face it) quite serious charges of corruption. Get back if you can or if anyone else wishes to give an example I am open to that.
