U.S. Grant Treasury of Washington, D.C. Shaun Blake 206-792-9933 I was notified that I was to receive money in the amount of $4,000.00 to be deposited in either an account or to be credited to my charge account since I have not filed banruptcy. I got a name and number, called back several times. Not at any time did I talk to anyone who spoke English like they were born here or living here in the U.S. for any legnth of time. I thought the U.S. Treasury Department might like to know that scammers are using thier name in order to rip off people. Washington D.C. D.C.

I was called by someone named Shaun Blake who said he was with the U.S. Grand Treasury Department in Washington D.C.  phone number 206-792-9933.  He told me that I was selected to receive a prize.  When I told him that I never registered to win a prize, he said that I was selected since I have not filed bankruptcy in the last seven years.  He further stated that the government had a surplus account that was to be split among the winners.  He said that I would receive over $4,000.  and all I had to do was to give him my account number where it could be deposited or give him the number to my credit or debit card so they may deposit the money there.  I asked for his name, phone number, and business name since I would call back after I ran some errands.  This man did not speak very good English.  When I called back, another person answered who also did not speak very fluently.  He told me his organization was Washington D.C.  I replied that Washington D.C. is a place and not an organization.  I asked him is he was calling from the U.S. Government in Washington and he said, "Yes, Yes!"

I just wanted you to know that this is a scam and I didn't give him any information but I think it should be checked out since they have names, numbers, and all that.

I hope you will be able to shut down this organization before they do get someone to give them thier banking information.

Thank you.
