US HOMEWONERS RELIEF GREEN LEAF MODIFY, INC. They are a fraud. They took my money to do a loan modification and did nothing. Trying to get my refund and I still haven't been able to speak with anyone!!! Santa Ana, California

It started back in February, we had defaulted 1 payment on our mortgage, and we were trying to get someone to help us with a loan modification. I went on-line and found GreenLeafModify. The person I spoke to was very friendly and seemed to know what he was taking about. After all the paperwork was sent, he called saying that we were qualified and that he would send all the info to their attorneys and the process would start right away, after the fee was paid, of course.
May came and after many calls to now a different person taking care of our file, she would say they were still waiting for an answer from our lender, and they were also waiting for other "possibilities".
After many calls from our lender saying that they had not received any loan modification form from Green Leaf Modify, and realizing that we were about to loose our house (lender at this time had already started foreclosure proceedings), we canceled our contract with Green Leaf, hoping that we would still get some refund.
We are in September and we have not received anything from Green Leaf Modify, and to keep our home we had to borrow from my husband's 401K.
This is certainly a company that is only looking for a weak prey...
