On April 5, 2012, I received an email offering a shipping assistant job, to which I expressed interest.

On April 16, 2012, I received an email fron Anne Novak, Recruitment Department, U.S. Multipack Courier, giving details on U.S. Multipack Courier and providing instructions on what I needed to do if I was interested in becoming "one of their official employees."

On April 17, 2012, after visiting the company Web site at www.usmultipackcourier.com, I submitted a resume package by fax to 800-764-3361.  The package included my resume, my references, the U.S. Multipack Courier Employment Agreement, a Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification, a 2011 W-4 (which I brought attention to the fact that it was 2011, instead of 2012), AND a copy of my Social Security card and my California Driver License.  On the fax cover sheet, I asked Anne Novak to confirm receipt of my resume pack to my email address.

On April 19, 2012, I received a call from someone who identified himself as Robert.  He conducted a short telephone interview.

On April 19, 2012, I received a detailed email from recruitment@usmultipackcourier.com (Anne Novak)giving me details of what the shipping/receiving assistant job consisted of.

On April 21, 2012--after not getting a confirmation or response from U. S. Multipack Courier--I called the Los Angeles Police Department to find out what I needed to do if I had become a victim of identify theft. They suggested that I might want to file a police report; however, I did not file one. I did, however, send a message to U.S. Multipack Courier that I was suspicious about the transactions that had taken place with them.

On April 23, 2012, I received an email from Celina Kaminski, Line Manager, Remote Operations Department, U.S. Multipack Courier, Inc. with 5 attachments, detailing procedures and documents for the duties of a Receiving/Shipping Assistant.  I established contact via the online messaging site at http://www.dispatch-platform.com/module/doc/packages/.  I was given a login name and a password.

Throughout this process I have tried to call the office number at 800-387-9137, but none of the telephone options were functional.  There was a Christmas song playing then a disconnect for all options.

Through this process, I had also begun to conduct Internet searches and did indeed find the name of a Manual Mier Pecina in Stockton, CA.  To date (May 3, 2012), I have not received a package or any further instructions (except for a message on the online Messaging page that there has been a small delay).

I am now afraid that this company has taken my Social Security # and Driver License for scam purposes.
