US Power Moving company is unethical and unprofessional company. The estimated cost for moving is way different from the actual charges they charge after the move.
I had gotten email from the company's manager stating the will charge $80/hr with about 5 hours of move time. When I got the bill after they loaded up my furniture in the truck, it was for $95/hr with 8 hour charge. They also added supply charge for tape and mattress covers which was not needed for my move. The total bill was $969.00 USD. I refused to pay and they threaten not to unload my furniture in my new address. They also stated they want all of the money in CASH only. This is totally unethical and unprofessional for this company. I would highly recommend not to use this company's services down the road, otherwise you will get scamed like I did.

The Owner just stated the customer was refunded the next day. It is a lie. If it is true, please post a copy of the refunded check. Even after 4 years, I have negative feelings towards this company because the way the movers treated me and my family on the day of our move. We were very emotional on that day and on top of that US Power Moving company took advantage of us. Since the movers wanted CASH only, I was forced to goto my kids piggybank and give them money from the their piggybank since I could only withdraw $600 dollars from the ATM. I still remember my kids faces on that moment.
If the owner still wants to honor the original agreement, he can refund all of my money back and I will retract this article but I highly recommend not to go forward with this company.

The client received a refund the next day. The employees dealing with this move are no longer part of the company.
As an owner of the company, I now personally handle every move to make sure the client is satisfied in every aspect of the relocation. There is always 1 customer out of a 100 who will complain, but it has not been happening lately because we do the best possible job.
