I just looked at my AT&T bill and discovered that I've been charged $31.90 for services no one authorized! We only have local phone service which is usually around $20 so when I saw that our bill for this month was over $50, I freaked! The phone is registered in my husband's name, so he called the company listed on the bill, familycontact911.com. The woman he talked to tried to tell him that I signed up for the services. She had my name, address & phone number(obviously!). Well, since I was sitting next to him I heard her say this and set her straight. I demanded to know where her company got my information. She said it came from usprizedraw.com. She told my husband that the charges have been removed from our current AT&T bill, but it may take 1 to 3 billing cycles before the account won't be charged anymore. She gave us a confirmation number and told DH to call AT&T who would adjust the bill.

It's happened again!

This time I was billed three times from two different companies!! We are definitely blocking 3rd party billing this time no matter how much AT&T says it's not a good idea. By the way, it was from the same source:

This website is a scam and is used only to get information for the purpose of 'cramming' your telephone bill.

Something definitely needs to be done! This company is ripping clueless people off left and right!
