I just got off the phone with a lady trying to get me to renew, my Soap Opera digest and i told her that i did not want to renew it because i am now renewing a couple of my subscriptions, with the econmy the way it is now, i was so persistent, insisting on putting it on my charge card, after i told her time and time again that i did not want to renew it, i told her i had paid off charge card and did not want to use it,
so the threatened me with >"well ok since you wont use charge card, we will bill you for about 500 hundred dollars for 3 years of renewal of the magazine, I repeatedly told her that i did not want to renew it , so now i am wondering will i get a bill for over 500 dollars for a magazine that i do not want, please check this out

This company does rip off EVERY SINGLE PERSON THEY SPEAK TO. They sell readers digest for 119.99 for 3 years when Readers' Digest itself is like 20 bucks a year. They only work 9-5 because they are trying to talk to retired (preferablly really old) people. They know that they would not get any business afer 5 pm because thats when everyone gets home from work. The sole purpose of this compnay is to suck every last dollar out of every old person they speak to. I have seen orders over of $1,999.99!!! FOR MAGAZINES!! this is not right. They do all of this so the owners can drive their Cadillac, Porsche and BMW. MY ADVICE: STAY AWAY. Call the magazine compnaies directly. They will even tell you that US READERS is not someone to order from. Look them up on the BBB website too, Maybe under Magazine Data Center.
