US Record Search And Information Service, Misleading Advertising and False Statements Coral Springs Florida

As a result of a google search I contacted US Record Search and Information Service, Inc and inquired about obtaining back account information on two individuals. I informed the person who answered the phone that I had judgments as well as the necessary identifying information. I was informed that it would take between 7 and 14 days to complete and if an account was located the information provided would include the type of account the amount and the name and physical address of the financial institution. I asked the woman if I could establish a credit card account with them becuse of the volume of business I was going to do with them. She advised me that they only accepted checks and I could mail them in or I could give them a check and routing number and they could begin the assignments right away.

I then asked if I could speak to the owner about establishing a credit card account. I was given the name of Fred Joseph. Subsequently I contacted Mr. Joseph who informed me that he was one of ten companies that had access to the US Banking system and he posted a $250,000 bond to qualify. He further told me that the contract he had with the US Banking system prevented him from accepting credit cards. He then informed me his company did not need a judgment to perform bank account searches and that he submitted the information directly to the banking system. He informed me that if the individual had an account the information would include the type of account, amount in the account and the name and physical address of the financial institution. He said it usually takes between 7 and 10 days to complete. I them submitted two bank search requests on March 5, 2007 along with two check numbers and routing numbers.

Approximately three weeks later I had received no reports from Mr. Joseph so I called. I was advised I would be contacted when they came in. Needless to say several more weeks went by and no reply from Mr. Joseph. After several conversations with Mr. Joseph about the delays he became very obnoxious and hung up on me.
On April 28, 2007 I received two reports from Mr. Joseph-both were negative regarding bank accounts-one I submitted I subsequently learned had an account and I had obtained the information from another source. In addition Mr. Joseph included an IRB address history of each individual-which I did not request.

I have reported Mr. Joseph and his company to the Attorney General of Florida not to have them intervene in a business dispute but to bring to their attention the misrepresentation of services by Mr. Joseph and US Record Search and Information Service, Inc.

I would caution all to exercise good judgment if considering using the above firm as I believe Mr. Joseph and his company to be dubious at best.
