U.S. Xpress Enterprises Fired because a company installed piece of equipment shorted out, and instead of just fixing it, blamed a cellphone charger, an xm radio, and a tom tom gps unit for the cause ripoff Chattanooga Tennessee

I worked for this company with out ever the thought that I would have any problems getting a company vehicle repaired as needed. One day an electrical short caused by faulty equipment they had installed, shorted out in the fuse box. The short was so bad, buy the time unit was pulled out of traffic, and gotten safely to the side of the road out of traffic, there was a flame shooting out of the center of the fuse box. The unit was towed to the nearest company yard about 50 miles away, where at there shop the local repair men said that it was a camera installed on the passenger side for blind spots on the truck.

It was repaired, and was told a new dash piece was being overnighted to replace the burned section. The next afternoon still no part showing, I was pulled into the terminal managers office late in the afternoon and told I was being told to go home at my expense via the bus for further investigation. The reason was there were "to many wires" in the truck, siting my xm radio, a gps unit about the size of two packs of cigarettes, and of course the standard issue cb radio. Also siting that the truck was a mess when it was towed into the shop.

Gee let see now there was a fire, the breaks were stomped pretty hard due to the excitement of a fire, and things hit the floor. An fire ext was set off as well. mess??? I'd hope there was to say there was one. but it wasnt BURNED To the ground.

5 days later I found out I"M fired because of all this. I'm still trying to figure out where I'm at fault here. Other than driving for this company to begin with. OH yes. I"m suppose to have a cat, they are a company that allows pets, but i'm still looking, because my last pay check I didnt recieve because they took it as a pet deposit. So now I have NO job thanks and no money.
