My wife received a piece of mail from US-Yellow with the 'Walking Fingers' logo indicating that they had a listing for her company for the 'Yellow Pages' and asked that she review the contact information and mark a box to indicate if there were changes needed or not.

We both looked it over and assumed that we were verifying the address so that she would be published in the phone book (for free). 9 months later, we receive an invoice stating that we owe $585 total - $195/quarter - for the "listing". We called to tell them we didnt order anything and they were quick to email us the offer that we signed. In tiny print in the terms and conditions it states that a listing is $195/quarter. Nowhere does it state that by signing the bottom that you are ordering a listing.

I thought we were out of luck until I found articles online about Florida's Attorney General going after this company (http://www.myfloridalegal.com/newsrel.nsf/newsreleases/B3678D76BAC9FC63852575B000475760). There are also loads of Better Business Bureau complaints. Apparently they are getting some heat, so we called back and told them that we inadvertently sent the form back and were misled by the terminology and layout of the form. We asked that the order be cancelled and we did not wish to pay for any of the invoice. The nice woman said that was perfectly fine and zeroed out our account and gave us a confirmation number.

I wanted to share this and make it accessible online so that others can know what they are getting into and what to do in case they signed the form also. Hope this helps.
